Why is Exercise So Important?
The amount of muscle mass and strength you have are
the top two indicators of healthy aging:
Muscle mass is responsible for maintaining healthy
metabolic rates to burn calories and generate
energy for cellular repair.
Strength provides proper structural alignment,
integrity and joint stability to minimize pain and
maximize function.
Weight bearing exercise and resistance training
increase bone mass.
Body Composition (fat & muscle percentages) is a
bio-marker for Type II diabetes, cardiovascular
disease and cancer.
